Our story
Wingstar started as a simple idea: bring the best of flame-grilled piri piri and crispy fried wings under one roof, and do it properly. No shortcuts, no compromise – just big flavour, every single time.
It started in Acocks Green, Birmingham. Now Wingstar is preparing to spread its flame to new locations across the UK – and into Spain, France and Ireland.
Who we are
Wingstar is a chicken-first brand that takes both sides of the grill seriously: smoky piri piri and crispy fried wings. We don’t see them as separate menus – we see them as two tools for giving people the exact plate they’re craving.
Every piece of chicken that goes out is halal, marinated properly and cooked fresh to order. Whether you’re here for a quick burger and fries, a family piri platter or a shared fried wing box, the idea is the same: no weak bites.
From Mango & Lime up to Extra Hot, and from Lemon & Herbs Piri to Korean BBQ, every flavour has been crafted, refined and perfected for real impact.
Our chicken is halal and hand-marinated – not just dipped in sauce at the end. The flavour runs through, not just on top.

Our journey
We started with one store in Birmingham and a simple plan: get the food right first, then grow the brand. Now we’re gearing up to take Wingstar to more neighbourhoods in the UK and beyond.
Wingstar opens its first home in Acocks Green. The focus: build the perfect blend of piri piri grilled and crispy fried wings, dial in the flavours, build trust with the local community.
With the food and systems locked in, Wingstar begins planning new sites across the UK – bringing the same flame and crunch to more towns and cities.

Where we’re going
Wingstar is building the foundations now in Birmingham – systems, recipes, training, supply, branding – so that when we grow, we grow properly.
The roadmap is clear: more locations across the UK, then carefully selected cities in Spain, France and Ireland where people are ready for something a bit louder than the usual.
Birmingham first, then other major towns and cities – always one store at a time, done right.
